The Los Ancianos have lost their good friend and our club Trail Master. Paul Eddy, aka Pablo, died last week in a single dirt bike accident.
If you have ever ridden a Los Ancianos event, you have ridden on some of Paul’s trails. If he didn’t lay it out and actually build it, he trained the guys that did. He was dedicated to single track trails in Tecate, and throughout Baja. He was a quiet guy who never sought recognition – but we all knew how much he added to our rides and races. And, how much he added to our lives.
A ride with Paul was special – you often wondered when it would end because he was always ready to ride until dark … and it was all single track with maybe a few bits of old Baja two tracks to connect the trails. He spent countless nights at the club ranch, and evenings with Paul were good times. Never a guy for crowds, he would open up around the camp fire with a few good friends.
He cared deeply about Baja and the people living there, always willing to give a little extra for ranchers and others along the peninsula.
Paul was a huge and irreplaceable part of Los Ancianos MC. He literally embodied all that is Los Ancianos. Our LAMC family will never, ever, be the same.
Vaya con Dios Pablo. #clubnews ... Show MoreShow Less
Ray AbbottThis photo is after a trail ride and you'll notice it is still daylight. That is only because we begged Paul to stop early, he would have kept going until dark😏2 weeks ago · 5

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The Los Ancianos Tecate Enduro will be December 2, 2017
We're looking at the same general format as last year's successful event with a few changes. Look for updates as decisions are made, who knows? Maybe a remote lunch/pit location (really remote) definitely lots of new/resurrected trails. #clubnews ... Show MoreShow Less

IMPORTANT CHANGE for 2017 Tecate Enduro:
Your Motorcycle MUST be able to go 50 miles BEFORE refueling!
There will still be 3 Special Tests of approximately 25 miles each.
Special Test 1 will end at a remote checkpoint with NO fuel. Snacks and water will be available.
Your crew can pit at the end of Special Test 2. Approximately Race mile 50 (Location to be announced at sign-up). Los Anicanos will also haul your gas there if necessary.
Why the change? Access in and out of start/finish area is limited and this change gives us access to more new and challenging trails for your racing pleasure.
#clubnews ... Show MoreShow Less

With great sorrow we mourn the loss of our friend Joaquin "Boyo" Candia. A kind, good natured, gentle soul of a man, inseparable from his father Joaquin, impeccable rider, and joy to his mother Maria, sister Laura and little nephews. We love you forever. Ride in Peace, until we see you at the campfire. Vaya con Dios.
Boyo was a second generation Anciano who rode with us from his early years. He and his dad were always riding together, doing whatever they could to help on any club project, ride or race. He was a joker, always with a quick smile and laugh. He left us way too early and we will miss him. #clubnews ... Show MoreShow Less

Justin Morgan, Tecate Enduro and Baja racer is going to the ISDE! If you would like to help out you can make donations via PayPal. A special ISDE Paypal account has been set up for Justin and any and all donations can be made through Paypal at email@example.com (make sure and select “Send money to family and friends” from your Paypal account).
There other fund raiser things in the works as well. There will be a T-Shirt especially for Justin's ISDE effort and there may be a ride type event and a raffle with lots of goodies. He's not only a fast guy, he's also a genuine nice guy who deserves a little help to represent the USA at this year's ISDE in France. #clubnews ... Show MoreShow Less
